E! reporter Kristin Dos Santos talks about Hart of Dixie and why you should watch! Kristin will also be reportedly visiting the set today, so tweet her questions! Twitter | Kristin D Santos

Here is a little look at the article

She stole our hearts one “Ew!” at a time as Summer Roberts on The O.C. And now, Rachel Bilson has reunited with O.C. creator Josh Schwartz for the CW’s charming new fall drama Hart of Dixie.

Confession time: We want to bear hug this show and never ever let it go. It is more than a worthy successor to the feel-good WB drama throne. If Everwood picked up Gilmore Girls at a bar for a night of quippy fun, the result would be the adorable Hart of Dixie. Sprinkle some Doc Hollywood on that baby for good measure.

For the series’ creator and executive producer Leila Gerstein—who worked on The O.C. and says Summer was her favorite character to write for—Bilson was the only option for Zoe. “She’s delightful, she’s great at comedy, but there’s something about her that is likeable. You want to be on any journey she’s going on,” she says. “She appeals to men, she appeals to women, you want her to be your girlfriend and your best friend and take her home to dinner.”

Verdict: If you couldn’t tell from the gushfest, we want you to watch the crap out of this show. Doctor’s orders.

HollywoodNews.com: “The O.C.” star Rachel Bilson returns to television with the new show “Hart of Dixie” this fall on The CW. She plays a doctor who moves to practice in a small town. After a presentation to the Television Critics Association, Bilson stayed behind to answer a few questions about the new show, her fabulous home and fashion.

Q: Did doing movies make you appreciate the experience of doing TV when you came back?
RB: It’s interesting because I do feel the same way. Going from film, which is great, it’s like you establish these relationships and it’s more short lived and then you move on. With television it’s like you have a family and you’re there every day and you get to create and stay with this character for so long. There’s just a nice familiarity with it, just to be able to have that stability while doing that every day in and out was nice.

Q: How would you function in a small town?
RB: Me personally? I think I would do quite well. I’m pretty small. I can kind of fit in.

Q: Do you like that pace?
RB: I love that pace. I am a mellow person. I like to sleep, I like to rest. I would love to just hang my feet off a porch any day.

Q: How could you handle a doctor’s schedule?
RB: I feel like I have a doctor’s schedule a little bit. I am on call pretty much because I’m waking up at 5 in the morning every day and I have to report to work so it’s a little similar there, but I definitely don’t have to do what doctors do which is so admirable and remarkable. I just have to pretend I did it.

Q: How do you react to the sight of blood?
RB: I’m fine with blood, I’m fine with shots. I don’t really freak out about any stuff like that.

Q: Do you know what to do in a medical emergency?
RB: I can do a suture but I probably wouldn’t save you.

Rachel Bilson dished on her new CW series Hart of Dixie at the Television Critics Association’s summer press tour Aug. 4 – and because HollywoodLife.com is always focused on the important issues, we asked Rachel which of her TV characters would win in a cat fight: Summer from The OC, or Zoe from Hart of Dixie! In typical Rachel Bilson style, her answer was… adorable.

“Come on… Summer would totally take down Zoe in real life,” Rachel answered without hesitation. “But Zoe could totally stich her up after.”

Regardless of the winner, we’re sure Seth Cohen would have himself a front row seat for the action.

Rachel looks so gorgeous!

Summer Roberts is back!

Rachel Bilson returns to the small screen this fall in her first series regular role since The O.C. with the CW’s Hart of Dixie, debuting Monday, Sept. 26 at 9 p.m. after Gossip Girl. In the upcoming medical drama, Bilson plays Dr. Zoe Hart, a big-city doctor who moves to a small town in Alabama when she can’t find a job in New York City. Of course, things don’t go her way.

Friday Night Lights alum Scott Porter and My Generation’s Jaime King co-star in the hourlong, executive produced by the team behind The O.C., Gossip Girl and Chuck.

The Hollywood Reporter has the exclusive first look at the official one-sheet. Check it out

Zoe (Bilson) has conflicted feelings about seeing her estranged father, world-renowned surgeon Ethan Hart (Cole), who has agreed to travel to Bluebell to perform surgery on George’s (Scott Porter) father (guest star Eric Pierpoint) as a favor to Zoe. Fearful of losing George, Lemon (Jaime King) decides she must befriend Zoe in order to prevent her from telling George about Lemon’s affair with Lavon (Cress Williams). Meanwhile, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Rammer Jammer, the owner (guest star John Marshall Jones) hosts a signature cocktail contest between Wade (Wilson Bethel) and Shelley (guest star Deborah S. Craig).
