Ladies, grab your closest girlfriend and click play on this video because we’ve got the exclusive online premiere of the trailer for L!fe Happens, the movie that we’re predicting will be the next Sex and the City, if Sex and the City was about twenty-somethings … and Carrie had a baby and Samantha was a virgin.
The movie, which hits theaters on Friday April 13, follows three roommates — played hilariously by Krysten Ritter, Kate Bosworth and Rachel Bilson — who are forced to deal with the consequences of one woman’s one-night stand.
With the Sundance Film Festival kicking off, according to IndieWire, “The To Do List” is a part of the line up. Here is the description of what the movie is about.
“The To-Do List” Synopsis: A virginal high-school honors student tries to gain sexual experience over the summer before she starts college. What You Need To Know: Another raunchy female-driven comedy, “The To-Do List” (formerly titled “The Hand Job”), sets itself apart from the pack by the sheer depth of talent it’s attracted. Written and directed by Maggie Carey, the filmmaker other half of SNL star Bill Hader, the film toplines “Parks & Recreation” star Aubrey Plaza as the Type-A girl crossing off a few sexual practices, with Hader, Andy Samberg, Alia Shawkat, Mae Whitman, Johnny Simmons, Connie Britton, Clark Gregg, Rachel Bilson, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Scott Porter, D.C. Pierson and Dominic Bierkes making up the hugely impressive supporting cast. Hader told us last year to expect the film to be a “raunchy ‘Sixteen Candles,’” and Carey’s very strong script certainly backs that up. When? The film shot last summer, so SXSW could be feasible. If not, Toronto’s very likely too.
According to MNN, Adam Pally is playing Rachel’s boyfriend in the 2013 movie ‘The To Do List’!
Pally acted in the ensemble comedy “The To-Do List” during his series hiatus, playing Rachel Bilson’s boyfriend. “He’s a Trustafarian — that’s someone who has a huge trust fund but lives the Rastafarian lifestyle,” explains Pally. At the top of his own to-do list? “I need to get some sleep!

The To Do List (once known as The Hand Job) began filming at the Pinecrest School in Woodland Hills, CA today.
The To Do List follows a studious, type A overachiever who has recently graduated from high school but remains sexually inexperienced. Before hitting college, she decides she’s going to check off every possible sex act, shocking her equally tight-laced friends.
The script was written and will be directed by Maggie Carey (who is also Bill Hader’s wife) and stars Aubrey Plaza in the lead, Connie Britton as her free-spirited mother, Scott Porter as her number one crush, Johnny Simmons as a classmate and Christopher Mintz-Plasse as a “sci-fi dork”.
Clark Gregg, Rachel Bilson, Andy Samberg, Alia Shawkat, and Mae Whitman have also signed on, though their roles have yet to be determined.
The movie will continue filming at the Woodland Hills school, located at Shoup and Oxnard, through the end of the week. The entire shoot is expected to last for 24 days in and around L.A.
Already boasting a massive cast, the upcoming high concept comedy “The To Do List” (previously known as “The Hand Job”) has now added two more its ranks.
The Playlist has confirmed that Clark Gregg—best known as Agent Coulson from the Marvel movie franchise—and Rachel Bilson (Summer Roberts from “The O.C.”) have come aboard the film. Starring “Parks and Recreation” star Aubrey Plaza, Bill Hader, Andy Samberg, Alia Shawkat, Mae Whitman, Johnny Simmons, Donald Glover, Connie Britton, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Scott Porter, D.C. Pierson and Dominic Dierkes the film follows a studious, A-type who has recently graduated from high school but remains sexually inexperienced. Before hitting college, she decides she’s going to check off every possible sex act and embarks on an adventure like no other with goals on her list including hand-job, titty-fuck, blow-job, fingering…you get the idea. Naturally, her friends are naturally shocked by her sudden and somewhat agressive quest.
The was written and will be directed by comic Maggie Carey (who is also Hader’s wife) with Plaza in the lead, Britton as her liberal, free-spirited mother; Porter will take on the role of a grunge rocker Plaza has a crush on, Simmons will be a classmate and Mintz-Plasse his sci-fi dork best bud. Dierkes, Pierson and Glover will play a trio of lifeguards while Hader will play a stoned pool manager. No official word yet on Gregg and Bilson’s roles, but it’s likely they’re slotted in as Plaza’s conservative father and older sister respectively—the two remaining parts that needed to be filled.
Filming is likely to kick off soon as a good chunk of the cast will be returning to their TV shows this fall (”Saturday Night Live,” “Community,” “Parks & Recreation” etc). No release date yet, but 2012 looks likely.
There have been a lot of rumours going around since Jumper was released back in 2008, that a sequel would be made with a release date set for around 2013. However, it has now been suggested that a Jumper 2 will no longer be happening after a the original cast failed to commit to a sequel.
The original cast from Jumper, including Hayden Christensen, Rachel Bilson and Jamie Bell have been reluctant to either confirm or deny wanting to be involved in a sequel and without the three main stars of the film, it looks highly unlikely that it will ever be made.
Hayden Christensen and Rachel Bilson have been dating on and off since appearing in Jumper together and they are currently on. Jamie Bell was dating Evan Rachel Wood a few years back and now it appears that the couple could be rekindling their romance.
Zoe (Bilson) has conflicted feelings about seeing her estranged father, world-renowned surgeon Ethan Hart (Cole), who has agreed to travel to Bluebell to perform surgery on George’s (Scott Porter) father (guest star Eric Pierpoint) as a favor to Zoe. Fearful of losing George, Lemon (Jaime King) decides she must befriend Zoe in order to prevent her from telling George about Lemon’s affair with Lavon (Cress Williams). Meanwhile, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Rammer Jammer, the owner (guest star John Marshall Jones) hosts a signature cocktail contest between Wade (Wilson Bethel) and Shelley (guest star Deborah S. Craig).
