Rachel Bilson teamed up with co-star Wilson Bethel (Wade) to do a funny parody of their show Hart of Dixie on Funny or Die! Wilson wrote the rap song for Rachel to sing through-out the video, both Wilson and Scott Porter, also on the show, are featured in the video!
For those looking for the lyrics, here they are!:
You said I don’t look like a what?
Like a real doctor? A real doctor wouldn’t dress like me? Wouldn’t look like me?
Lab coat Dolce
Clip board Prada
Vera Wang Short shorts
Nametag: Doctor
For those Wade/Zoe lovers out there, Wilson Bethel (Wade) gave a short interview with TV Line to talk about what’s to come of their romance.
*** SPOILER ALERT: NO NOT READ IF YOU DON’T WANT SPOILERS.***
TVLINE | When we chatted before Hart of Dixie premiered, you were certain that Wade was meant to be with Zoe. Still feeling the same way today?
The direction of Zoe (Rachel Bilson) and Wade at this stage is very much moving toward getting them together. Wade is doing a pretty good job of endearing himself. There’s certainly not going to be any shortage of competition from George, though. There’s some great stuff coming up where Zoe and George really connect, but let’s just say that Wade’s a resourceful guy and he’ll always come up with ways to give himself the advantage. [Laughs]
TVLINE | So, we’ll see some actual competition between the buds for Zoe’s affections?
Absolutely. At least George is engaged, so he has that going for him. [Laughs] But Wade will definitely try to feel out what George’s interest is, because he’s jealous. He’s jealous knowing that George has this spark with Zoe. Between the two friends, there’s a jockeying for the alpha male spot.
TVLINE | And now there’s also a veterinarian coming to Bluebell as a love interest for Zoe. How does Wade factor in?
He’s only involved peripherally, though it’s safe to say that Wade isn’t happy about it. That said, the vet (played by True Blood/Trauma alum Wes Brown) will definitely be around for more than an episode.
Rachel Bilson returns to the small screen in the CW’s new Southern drama, Hart of Dixie.
Playing Dr. Zoe Hart, a big city doctor forced to move to a small town in Alabama, Bilson has her hands full with a crop of supporting players, led by Friday Night Lights’ Scott Porter, whose characters are complicated enough to make heads spin.
In preparation for next Monday’s launch, The Hollywood Reporter runs down the five things to look out for on the new series:
[Warning: This article contains spoilers.]
1. Secret romances take center stage: Zoe’s appearance isn’t the only thing that may be the talk of the town. As the series unfolds, a few characters hold a secret that could ruin their personal lives and standing in the town of Bluebell — a secret relationship that is. “We have this secret romance that we’re still trying to figure out what we’re going to do about it,” co-star Cress Williams, who plays town mayor and ex-football star Lavon, tells THR of his character’s complicated affair with Jaime King’s Southern belle, Lemon.

Here is a little look at the article
She stole our hearts one “Ew!” at a time as Summer Roberts on The O.C. And now, Rachel Bilson has reunited with O.C. creator Josh Schwartz for the CW’s charming new fall drama Hart of Dixie.
Confession time: We want to bear hug this show and never ever let it go. It is more than a worthy successor to the feel-good WB drama throne. If Everwood picked up Gilmore Girls at a bar for a night of quippy fun, the result would be the adorable Hart of Dixie. Sprinkle some Doc Hollywood on that baby for good measure.
For the series’ creator and executive producer Leila Gerstein—who worked on The O.C. and says Summer was her favorite character to write for—Bilson was the only option for Zoe. “She’s delightful, she’s great at comedy, but there’s something about her that is likeable. You want to be on any journey she’s going on,” she says. “She appeals to men, she appeals to women, you want her to be your girlfriend and your best friend and take her home to dinner.”
Verdict: If you couldn’t tell from the gushfest, we want you to watch the crap out of this show. Doctor’s orders.
Rachel Bilson dished on her new CW series Hart of Dixie at the Television Critics Association’s summer press tour Aug. 4 – and because HollywoodLife.com is always focused on the important issues, we asked Rachel which of her TV characters would win in a cat fight: Summer from The OC, or Zoe from Hart of Dixie! In typical Rachel Bilson style, her answer was… adorable.
“Come on… Summer would totally take down Zoe in real life,” Rachel answered without hesitation. “But Zoe could totally stich her up after.”
Regardless of the winner, we’re sure Seth Cohen would have himself a front row seat for the action.

Zoe (Bilson) has conflicted feelings about seeing her estranged father, world-renowned surgeon Ethan Hart (Cole), who has agreed to travel to Bluebell to perform surgery on George’s (Scott Porter) father (guest star Eric Pierpoint) as a favor to Zoe. Fearful of losing George, Lemon (Jaime King) decides she must befriend Zoe in order to prevent her from telling George about Lemon’s affair with Lavon (Cress Williams). Meanwhile, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Rammer Jammer, the owner (guest star John Marshall Jones) hosts a signature cocktail contest between Wade (Wilson Bethel) and Shelley (guest star Deborah S. Craig).
